| Sichuan province is one of the biggest provinces in China, with its west high mountain region, Chengdu plain in the middle, hills to the east, it shaped as a basin. Chengdu is at the bottom of this basin. So no matter which direction you go, you are going to reach to the hill or mountain. The rich geographic structure of Sichuan province brings the landscape of Sichuan in diversity, plus Sichuan is shared by not only Han Chinese, but also a lot of Tibetan, Qiang, Hui, Yi, Mongolian, lisu and so on, it makes this province exotic. Specially the west and northwest, dominated by mostly Tibetan people, the second Tibetan inhabited region apart from Tibet.
