Overview the town
Luodai Hakkha Town is inhabited mostly by Hakkha People whom fled to Sichuan during the war time back to hundreds of years ago. They speak Sichuan accent Hakkha Language which is similar to Cantonese Hakkha Language. Their part of culture have successfully preserved, it is a comfy half day trip from Chengdu for most of travelers, and avoid the weekend as Chengdu Locals take it as a weekend holiday resort.
In the town, you'll find 4 assembly halls which are literally "Cantonese Assembly Hall", "Huguang Assembly Hall", "Jiangxi Assembly Hall" and " North Sichuanese Assembly Hall". There is also a Hakkha History Museum in the heart of this town.
Don't forget to try the local snacks, they are quite interesting. And sip a cup of tea in one of the Assembly Hall is what relaxing mean here.
How to get there?
Take the bus from Wu Gui Qiao Public Bus Terminal (not long distane bus station), it's only 6 Yuan to get there and it cost 40 minutes.
